Who Are We? We are a united group of believers, with many
parts to our united family
and many that are created as needs arise. New groups are born each year through
a living active outreach.
We gather to worship God every Sunday at 11:15.
We provide Christian Education for children and adults.
We enjoy fellowship following church over coffee and light lunch every Sunday.
Sunday School is a very important part of our church.
Our Sunday School stresses faith, hope and love of God faith in the teachings
and example of Jesus Christ
and living out these beliefs in our everyday experiences. Emphasis is placed
on loving and serving others as Jesus taught,
along with being honest, seeking to be fair and resisting evil.
Relationships, play, and good fun are encouraged while stressing these moral
values.
A contact person for Sunday School is Carman
Andrew 749-2723.
The Friendship Group:

group shares friendship enthusiasm,
and combined talents for the betterment of our community and the church.

thank God for that.

Our Faith, we believe
in God, Christ and the Holy Spirit.
We put our trust in God who created and who is still creating.
For our part we are called to be a uniting church and share the good news of
Gods love for the world.
We feel prompted to celebrate Gods presence and concern, and to live with
respect to it,
to love and serve others while resisting evil, and seeking justice for all.
Through this journey we are invited to share our faith, proclaiming Jesus as
the saviour of the world.
Once crucified and then risen Jesus is our hope in this life, in death, and
beyond death.
Our faith stresses that we are not alone but that God is with us always, as
we strive to be with each other.
A Christ, uniting faith is what we believe and trust in and what we are most
thankful for.
It is a fascinating journey and wonderful gift open to all and freely given
by God.
The Church is open always to all who seek a place for
sanctuary, worship, spiritual support and fellowship.
To the community the church is available for weddings, funerals and family social
celebrations.

The Church Board is made up of individuals from the congregation
who offer their time and talent
to help guide and direct our church. They do this with the accepted faith that
God is their helper.
Always open to ideas or events that contribute to the well being of the congregation
and community,
they are committed Christians. Chairperson, Mervin Peters, 749-2433
"Your" Delburne United Church is a family of
believers who are freed by faith and loved by God,
free to come and go with the certain knowledge of being children of God.
We recognise that scripture is recorded for us as a gift from God to help us
deal with the unfolding times.
Guided by the Word and trusting that God is always with us, it is with confidence
that we say
